Professional Life
Just like her parents, Georgiana Marie decided to venture into the entertainment industry; however, she chose to do something different. Her first job came when Rudy Tellez, the then-producer of “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson,” hired her to work as his executive assistant. She worked for a while before she met Joel Tator, who offered her the opportunity to work as the producer of the television show “Tomorrow Coast to Coast” The show was a success, and it had to move to New York. However, she chose to do independent production for smaller companies.
Her Mother’s Estate Robbed
Following the death of her mother, Georgiana Marie stated that an individual had stolen over ten thousand dollars from her mother’s estate. Georgiana explained that the alleged thief took advantage of the amount of press done on her mother’s passing and was able to access Rose Marie’s accounts. She noted that the thief had managed to make withdrawals of between 2000- 2500 dollars. Upon discovery of this fraud, Georgiana reported the issue to the LAPD, who claimed they would do an investigation. However, according to her, the police were not willing to do any investigation given the amount was below 20,000 dollars, but she feared that it could happen to someone else.
Georgiana was battered by the circumstances following this robbing, given that she had just lost her mother. Besides, to make matters worse, the police were unwilling to investigate the matter. She reiterated that if she had not made an effort to follow up on the thief, he could have withdrawn more from her mother’s estate. According to Georgiana, there was no progress on the case, but the investigating officer noted that the investigation was going on but they were yet to find the culprit. Following this incident, Georgiana appealed to the public and informed them that her mother did not make any money from “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” and as such, they should not think that she was a gazillionaire and take the little she left her.
